Chinese Medical Day
On November 3, 2017, the State Council passed the application of the Health Planning Commission on the establishment of the Chinese Physician's Day, and agreed to establish the "Chinese Physician's Day" on August 19 of each year from 2018. The Chinese Physician's Day is a festival of health and health workers established by the State Council, which reflects the concern and affirmation of more than 11 million health and health workers by the party and the state.
On August 17, 2018, Xi Jinping made important instructions on the first "Chinese Physician's Day": stressing the humanitarian spirit of saving the wounded and dying, and making new contributions to the improvement of people's health.
